Fungiculturists Wanted: A Compost Bin... For Plastics?!?

EJ Baker, a former student and friend shared a story about a mushroom (Pestalotiopsis Microspora) that likes to eat plastic.

Conidia of Pestalotiopsis microspora

Got me to thinking that to test the possibilities someone should try and make a home "plastic composting kit".  I guess other people had the same idea, because they seem to be sold out of the mushroom spores here

This site says they have the plastic eating fungi spores in stock.

Green/"gray"(?) thumb types, take up the charge!! Kickstarter and Eco-fame await!
